B & R Motors, Inc. was founded in January 2001 by Rodger
Langster, and Glenn(Butch) Berry, both of Heber Springs,
Arkansas. The company was operated as somewhat of a side
business for 3 years and averaged approximately 10 trike units
per year. In January 2004 all company shares outstanding were
sold to Paul Shott, and through legal filings Paul Shott became
the registered agent of B & R Motors, Inc.assuming the position
of president. In February 2004 B & R Motors, Inc filed a
“Registration of Fictitious Name” to create the DBA of Misty
Mountain Cycle. Creating the new name was in line with the
vision of the new management to become more broadly focused
on the opportunities of the entire motorcycle industry.
Misty Mountain Cycle (MMC) is primarily an installer of 5 brands
of mass produced 3 wheel motorcycle conversions. These
conversions are also known in the industry as “trikes”. The 5
brands of trikes presently sold and installed by MMC are
California Sidecar Trikes, Hannigan Motorsports, MotorTrike,
Mystery Design, and Champion Sidecar Trikes. MMC sells and
installs trike kits on Honda's, Harley's, Kawasaki's and Yamaha
motorcycles. These trikes are often installed on demo units for
display and for inventory, but also are installed on customers
motorcycles. The trike conversions that are used by MMC are
only those that meet a standard of criteria based on design,
quality of materials, and above all, safety of finished product.
The brands of trike conversions that are installed by MMC are
much safer to ride than 2 wheel motorcycles and allow many
enthusiasts, who for various reasons can no longer ride the 2
wheel versions with safety and/or confidence, to be able to
continue enjoying the unmatched freedom and experience of
the open road on the back of a motorcycle.
MMC also is a retailer of a growing line of motorcycle parts,
accessories, and apparel as well as a used motorcycle dealer.
MMC will leverage their competitive advantages of low
overhead expenses, high quality of products, and phenomenal
growth of the booming motorcycle industry, to provide a
profitable, reliable, and trustworthy product and service to the
motorcycle enthusiast community.
